Welcome to Hotel Coastal Peace. By making a reservation or staying at our property, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Booking & Reservation Policy
Government ID Requirement: As per local government regulations and law enforcement guidelines in Cox’s Bazar, all guests (both primary guest and accompanying members) must present a valid national photo ID (National ID Card, Passport, or Driving License) upon check-in.

Age Requirement: The primary guest making the booking must be at least 18 years of age.

Confirmation: Reservations are considered confirmed only upon receipt of the required advance deposit or full booking payment as specified at the time of reservation.

2. Check-In and Check-Out
Standard Check-In Time: 12:00 PM (Noon)

Standard Check-Out Time: 11:00 AM

Early Check-In / Late Check-Out: Subject to room availability and may incur additional charges.

Extension: Room extensions are subject to availability and updated seasonal tariffs.

3. Payment & Pricing
Tariffs: All rates quoted are per room, per night, and are subject to applicable government taxes (VAT) and service charges unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Payment Methods: We accept major credit/debit cards, Mobile Financial Services (bKash/Nagad), cash, and approved bank transfers.

Additional Charges: Guests are responsible for any extra charges incurred during their stay (e.g., room service, laundry, extra bed, mini-bar, or damaged property).

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Standard Cancellation:

Cancellation requests made 72 hours or more prior to check-in: Full refund minus minimal administrative processing fees.

Cancellation requests made 24 to 72 hours prior to check-in: 50% of the advance amount will be retained.

Cancellation requests made less than 24 hours prior to check-in or No-Shows: No refund will be issued (100% cancellation charge).

Peak Season / Special Holidays: Bookings during long weekends, Eid holidays, New Year, or peak tourist season may be non-refundable.

5. Guest Conduct & Property Rules
Visitors Policy: External visitors are allowed only in public areas (lobby, restaurant). For safety and security reasons, visitors are not permitted in guest rooms without prior management approval and mandatory photo ID verification.

Unlawful Activities: Any illegal activity under the laws of Bangladesh—including possession of banned substances, weapons, or unregistered illegal goods—is strictly prohibited on hotel premises.

Smoking Policy: Smoking inside designated non-smoking rooms is strictly forbidden. Please use designated outdoor or balcony smoking zones.

Quiet Hours: Guests are requested to maintain noise decorum, especially between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM, to respect the privacy and peace of other guests.

6. Damages & Loss of Property
Damage to Hotel Property: Any damage to hotel property, furniture, electronics, or linen caused by negligence or intent will be billed directly to the primary guest.

Personal Belongings: The hotel management is not liable for the loss, theft, or damage of personal valuables, cash, or electronics left unattended in guest rooms. In-room safes or front-desk safe deposit options should be utilized.

7. Force Majeure
Hotel Coastal Peace will not be held liable or responsible for failure to fulfill contractual obligations if such failure is caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, cyclones, severe coastal weather, floods, strikes, government restrictions, power outages, or civil disturbances.

8. Right of Service
Hotel Coastal Peace reserves the right to refuse admission or terminate the stay of any guest whose conduct is deemed disruptive, offensive, abusive to staff or other guests, or in violation of hotel rules, without any obligation to issue a refund.
